On 20-21 May, 2021 AVEVA hosted the conference in Sochi, Russia called ‘’Aveva World Conference Russia & CIS 2021’’. It gathered people from the industry sector to participate in the event and share technical and business innovations, ideas and insights.
The event focused on tendencies, strategies and challenges for AVEVA in Russia. Globally, all presentations were centered around Digital Transformation and everything that is in the zeitgeist – cloud, Industrial IoT, Artificial Intelligence, big data, digital twin, etc.
Sergey Anikin, the Head of solutions department in Open Cascade, made a presentation “Open Cascade solutions as a part of AVEVA value system”. This is not by chance that Open Cascade participated in the conference: since 2013 the company provides integration, administration and customization services for AVEVA products. Sergey spoke about Open Cascade expertise and real projects such as customization and support for AVEVA products, import of editable 2D and 3D CAD data into AVEVA design and manufacturing products, migration of legacy P&ID drawings into AVEVA Diagrams, etc.
“I was excited to join the Aveva World Conference annual event as a speaker for the first time, this is a great opportunity for our company to reveal the values that AVEVA-Open Cascade tandem can bring to EPC, oil&gas, marine and energy sectors to contribute to their successful digital journey,” Sergey commented on his participation in the conference.
Open CASCADE Technology 7.7.1 is published featuring many improvements and corrections over the previous magor release 7.7.0.
The new release of added-value components for OCCT 7.7.0 provides around 100 bug fixes over the previous release.
