When I load my program to read STEP file, I have the next message:
"a required .DLL, WS2_32.DLL was not found."
and this dll is not on my pc...!

This can come from the level of Windows you have.
On Windows NT, you have in D:\windows\system32 , this library, also wsock32.dll which lists some entry points in common (but we didn't test with it anyway, it's only an indication)
Are you on NT or on a 9x version of Windows ? This can help

I think this Dll concerns Windows Socket 2 and is released by Microsoft with the Software Developers Kit (SDK). I guess you do not have Visual C++ 5 (or above) installed on your PC. It should be possible to upgrade your Windows 95 to install this Dll. Do a search on microsoft home page with keywords "windows socket"

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/WUAdminTools/S_WUN... and get ws2setup.exe, that should do you.

exactly. duh. its a re4quired file and it isnt on ure computer. Download the file then move it inot the system folder of the program you are tyring to run. If there is no system foler, move it into the folder of the application.
