Sorry, but did you well setting all the variable under your account and under your visual C++ tool? (see http://www.opencascade.com/faq/index.html to have the recommendations).

Dear Helper:

I want to thank you for your response. But, I checked for variables(I have set):CSF_GraphicShr, MMGT_CLEAR, CSF_MDTVFontDirectory, CSF_MDTVTexturesDirectory, CSF_UnitsDefinition, CSF_UnitsLexicon, PATH(for JAVA, TclTk and Open CASCADE), DRAWHOME, DRAWDEFAULT,CASROOT, CASCADEHOME and inc and lib in tools/options/directories. Do I miss something?

There are two messages when I open one of Open CASCADE samples. The messages as following : "cann't compile the file ....\Sample2DBasic.h; no compile tool is associate with the file extension" and "Unable to connect to source code control project $/Samples/Vol2/Sample2DBasci.

I don't have the folder named Vol2. What is it?

i do not think you forgot something, but they may be a mistake somewhere

i already had this message, but i think i solved it by checking the environment variables (being very careful to press the 'apply' button (in french it is 'fixer la valeur', but i am not sure of the english version of the text for this button!), **before** pressing the 'ok' button). Didn't you have any system access problems from your windows profile ?

are you sure ? are the files located on your local disk ?

sorry for this very little help.... Etienne

Dear Etienne: I have solved first question I asked. But, I still have problem for second one. May I ask you what local disk means for you? Does it means for Hard Disk? If it is yes. My all files are installed into to local hard disk. But, My hard disk is divided to two partitions. Is it problem?? Thank you for your patient.

Hello,

the message comes because the samples projects are in MS SourceSafe in Matra. Don't care about this message , just say not trying to reconnect to the source control in the future.

HTH,

Stephane
