TopoDS_Shape::Free() and Locked()

Daniel Woodman's picture

Hi all,

Does anyone know what the Free() and Locked() methods in the TopoDS_Shape class do?

Basically I am looking for a flag, if exists, which can lock a shape and prevents Boolean operations to be performed on it. Suppose I have a compound containing SolidA (locked) and SolidB (not locked) and use the BOPAlgo_MakerVolume with a set of horizontal planes passing through these two solids, I want the result to be a compound containing the original SolidA, and the sliced SolidB. I am wondering if Free() or Locked() can be used for this purpose.

Many thanks,
