Substitute for Standard::StorageManagerDump

Christian R. Krug's picture

in previous Open CASCADE versions one could monitor the memory foot print of some OCC classes with the static method StorageManagerDump from Standard. This was quite useful to establish the excact memory consumption of a specific TopoDS_Shape.

Now, in version 6.1, the memory management is completely changed, which is a good thing, because the previous version was not very reliable. But it has the disadvantage, that the dump method is no longer available.

So, is there any other way to monitor the exact amount of memory allocated by OCC ?

Regards, Kris.
