numerous shape splits
i need to split a shape into many smaller shapes, namely cubes of varying sizes. i have thought about it a bit and am wondering if the community has any ideas as to the best way to proceed:
a) split shapes via halfspace commons, twice per cut plane to get the two opposing sides, saving each part for later reuse in an additional common operation
b) split shapes via common with topods cubes
c) split shapes as in (a) but always starting from the original shape and performing 6 halfspace commons to define the inner cube
