Hello!
I tried to install OCCT 6.1.0 on my computer (Windows XP Home SP2) and the installation fails.
Note: The installation does not fail on all Windows XP Home Sp2 machines.
Can anybody help?

Hello,
this will not help you - but I have exactly the same problem. I wanted to have a look into this intersting program - but no chance. Tried it on two different XP-Installations. It doesn't work.

Well same here installation wont work.
I guess I get the same message:

Never mind just found on this forum the solution
installation is a success now :D
I met the same problem too, Here's my steps to solve it:
1. unzip your OpenCASCADE_win32.exe using winRAR
2. Open win32\setup.jar using winrar
find and import c88d9316cd259c34faaeb08b9cf61691\win32reg\r_EXPLORERPLUGINREGISTRY_WIN_01\DocumentExtension.reg to registry
3. install again, it should be successful
