"Public License Preamble has been modified"

Dear forum supervisor,

A recent news, available from the 'news' page (http://www.opencascade.org/about/news/) announced a change in the license preamble. Every change to the licensing policy or terms sounds like an important update. Although this change only deals with the 'preamble' (not the text itself), I have two questions:
- what change did you commit to the preamble?
- why did you change the license preamble?

Best Regards,

Thomas

I think got it.

I think I got it.

The sentence removed from the old preamble is (according to http://www.opencascade.org/org/forum/thread_15859/):
" You are also obliged to send your modifications of the original source code (if you have made any) to the Initial Developer (i.e. Open CASCADE S.A.S.)."

and was replaced with:
" We encourage you to send your modifications of the original source code (if you have made any) to our development team (Open CASCADE S.A.S.) because when you do so you contribute to the evolution of the product and many other people can benefit from your modifications."

A first step towards the LGPL license?
